SDGs EDOGAWA 10 Actions
Edogawa City has compiled the efforts that contribute to the SDGs, which are often thought of as difficult, into the "SDGs EDOGAWA 10 Actions," which are familiar and simple actions. We have positioned FY2022 as a year to deepen our understanding of the SDGs through action, and we are working with residents and companies in the city to promote and practice SDGs actions.

Collaboration with the Kubota Spears Funabashi TOKYO-BAY
In October 2021, we concluded partnership agreement for the SDGs promoting with the Kubota Spears Funabashi TOKYO-BAY, a member of Japan Rugby League One. To date, many community-based initiatives have been implemented, such as providing food for children's cafeterias, running rugby classes for children, and collaborating on health-related projects. All games played at the host stadium, Edogawa City Track and Field Stadium, was held as "SDGs Day". We set up "SDGs Stations" at game venues to collect gently used clothing, cloth and toys, and conducted food drives. In addition, visitors were given the opportunity to practice their SDGs actions during a cleanup activity around the venue prior to the games.
