市では、令和２年８月６日（木）に、管理職などの職員を対象として、ＳＤＧｓ（持続可能な開発目標）に関する研修会を開催しました。
この研修会は、職員のＳＤＧｓに対する理解を深めることなどを目的として開催したもので、約６０人が参加しました。なお、新型コロナウイルス感染症の感染拡大を防止するために、参加者を２グループに分けて、開催しました。
講師は、市のまち・ひと・しごと創生アドバイザーで、総合計画審議会の会長でもある関東学院大学法学部准教授の牧瀬稔氏に依頼しました。牧瀬氏は、市の職員を前に、「ＳＤＧｓは何か」や「望ましい取組の方向性」などについて説明し、「ＳＤＧｓの内容は、地方自治体が取り組んでいる取組そのものと認識することが大事」と結びました。
市では、この研修会の後、市の各施策とＳＤＧｓとの関係を整理し、令和２年１１月に、ＳＤＧｓの達成に向けた市の基本的な考え方及び取組を定めました。
今後、令和４年度を初年度とする第五次基本計画にＳＤＧｓの要素を反映することについて、検討を進めます。

On August 6, 2020, the city held an in-house training session on SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) for managers and other employees.
This session was held with the aim of deepening staff understanding of the SDGs, and was attended by approximately 60 participants. In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, participants were divided into two groups.
The lecturer was Mr. Minoru Makise, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Law at Kanto Gakuin University, who is also the city's advisor for regional revitalization and the chairman of the city’s General Planning Council. He explained to the city employees what the SDGs are and the desired direction of their efforts, concluding by saying, "It is important to recognize that SDGs are the very efforts that local governments are engaged in".
After this workshop, the city organized the relationship between each of its policies and SDGs, and in November 2020, established the city's basic approach and efforts toward achieving the SDGs. We will continue to discuss the possibility of reflecting SDGs elements in the Fifth Basic Plan, which will begin in FY2022.
