＜事業概要＞
令和元年１１月からHOYA株式会社アイケアカンパニーが、２０１０年から実施している使い捨てコンタクトレンズ空ケースの回収事業へ、自治体として初めて協定を締結し、協働で回収を開始しました。
市内の公共機関を回収拠点として、市役所本庁舎１か所、公民館３か所、市民センター６か所及び市内５校の中学校にご協力をいただき、１５か所で回収しています。
事業開始当初は、なかなか回収量が増えてませんでしたが、開始から１年を迎え、徐々に事業の周知が浸透しつつあり、回収量が増えています。（事業実績のとおり）
＜回収実績＞
令和元年１１月から令和２年３月末までの回収した重量は、約１３．１Kgでした。
令和２年４月から令和２年１０月末までの回収した重量は、約３２．３Kgでした。
事業開始から、１年間で５５．４Kgとなりました。
最初の５カ月間の月平均は約２．６２Kgですが、４月以降の７カ月間の月平均は、約４．６１Kgとなっております。概ね２倍に増えています。

＜Project Overview＞
In November 2019, we became the first municipality to conclude an agreement with HOYA Corporation Eye Care Company, and we began participating in the disposable contact lens empty case collection project (started in 2010).
We collect at 15 public facilities in the city, including one at the main city hall building, three community centers, six civic centers, and five junior high schools in the city.
At the beginning of the project, the volume of collected items did not increase. However, one year has passed since the start of the project, and awareness of the project is gradually spreading, resulting in an increase in the amount collected. (As shown in the project results)
＜Collection Project Results＞
The total weight collected from November 2019 to the end of March 2020 was approximately 13.1 kg.
That from April 2020 to the end of October 2020 was approximately 32.3 kg.
Since the beginning of the project, the total weight has been 55.4 kg in one year.
The monthly average for the first five months is about 2.62Kg, but the monthly average for the seven months since April is approximately 4.61Kg. This is approximately double the increase.
